History

Lee & de Ridder Architecture + Sustainable Planning Inc. specializes in sustainable building design that includes energy conservation, use of renewable energies and healthy buildings. The firm is known for its work examining design and construction issues, and for developing practical repairs and remediation solutions. The partners are registered architects each with over 40 years of experience. They have projects throughout Western and Northern Canada, and in Asia.  

We have been retained in dozens of court cases for plaintiff and defence to provide an expert witness opinion pertaining to building industry stakeholders. For examples, Architects to design, detail and conduct adequate site reviews and Contractors for coordination and workmanship by the trades. All buildings must exceed the minimum standards of the building codes and perform through its expected service life without premature failure causing undue hardship on occupants and building owners.
